Arts Express (K-5) features a series of lessons supporting elementary dance and theatre standards.
With instruction by professional teaching artists, and suggestions for cross-curricular connections, the videos are intended for both arts and general education teachers to use in their classrooms.
Arts In Mind (6-12) features a series of interviews supporting learning paths and college/career readiness in dance, music, theatre, and visual art.
With insights and tips from arts educators, university professors, and professional artists, the videos are intended for middle/high school students interested in pursuing the arts.
In partnership with The Carnegie, Pones, and Harris Media, Arts Express and Arts In Mind are produced by the Northern Kentucky Institute for Arts Education, a program of the Northern Kentucky Cooperative for Educational Services. The project is fully funded by an Assistance for Arts Education grant from the U.S. Department of Education, projected for a total of $6.97 million over five years. Thirty-two videos will be produced each year, for a total of 160 videos by 2026.
